Bill Roark was the course planner for the April 18, 2017 PBI Program “Pennsylvania’s Evolving Medical Marijuana Industry.” The course was held in Philadelphia and simulcast in Greensburg, Mechanicsburg, Pittsburgh, West Chester Wilkes-Barre, and York.
Course presenters were Christine Taylor Brann, Esq., Jonathann P. Tew, Esq. and John K. Weston, Esq. Attendees at the course:
- Looked beyond the basic nuts and bolts of the Medical Marijuana Act, and delved into the nuances and complexities this industry presents to the legal profession
- Received a thorough review of the updated regulations promulgated by the Department of Health, and how those regulations impacted the application process
- Explored the unique challenges this industry presents, including tax concerns, banking issues and zoning laws
- Learned how the Trump Administration’s approach to medical marijuana should impact your client’s decisions
