MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA. April 18, 2015: Attorney William G. Roark recently participated as a panel member of a Pennsylvania Bar Institute seminar. The seminar, entitled, “Is Medical Marijuana Coming to Pennsylvania? What will be the impact of the Medical Cannabis Act?” was organized by William Roark and co-led by Pennsylvania State Senator Daylin Leach, Steven Auerbach, and David Dinnenberg. The session focused on what clients’ rights will be under the proposed Medical Cannabis Act and the possible impact the Act could have on Pennsylvania.

William G. Roark is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. His practice is focused on environmental litigation and catastrophic injury cases. Bill is also one of only a handful of attorneys focusing on the developing legal field surrounding Pennsylvania’s Medical Cannabis Act. Bill has been and remains on the forefront of the legislative development and expected interpretation of the proposed law.

An active member of the Montgomery Bar Association, Bill is a past editor of the Montgomery County Law Reporter, the current vice-chair of the Environmental Law Committee and a contributing editor to Montgomery County’s Civil Practice Manual. A graduate of Bucknell University (B.A. Economics, cum laude, 2003), Bill received his law degree with honors in 2006 from Villanova University where he served as a member of the Villanova Moot Court Board Executive Committee. Prior to joining the firm, Bill worked for Environmental Equipment Inc., where he helped usher in the green-age by selling, servicing and installing solar pool heating systems. For five consecutive years (2010-2014), Bill has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition.
